Pumpkin Spice Latte (my way)

So it looks like Fall is finally here. It’s officially October and I couldn’t be happier about it. All things pumpkin and Fall related are underway here. Squash is in season and all thing pumpkin spice are calling our taste buds. I know most of us have had a Pumpkin Spice Latte at one point in our lives, so I tried finding a healthier and more natural alternative to that. This is a great alternative to those sugar filled syrups that are in the coffee shops.  I’ve been making this pumpkin spice latte the past few weeks  and I’m seriously in LOVE!  I know you will be too, once you try it!

 

 

Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Honey based pumpkin syrup

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 cups of water
  2. 1/3-1/2 cup of raw honey
  3. 1/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice ( I used Frontier Co-op)
  4. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions
  1. All of the ingredients together in a small sauce pan and cool over a low heat until everything is melted and mixed together. About 5 minutes

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup of hot coffee
  2. 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree
  3. 1/8- 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice or more if you'd like ( I used Frontier Co-op)
  4. 1-2 teaspoons of ghee
  5. 1/4 cup of my pumpkin spice syrup
  6. 1 teaspoon of maca* optional ( I used Navitas Organics)
Instructions
  1. All of these ingredients in a blender and blend for at least a minute or longer. Enjoy!
